About
The Duchess is a handcrafted rotary telephone in the vintage design, with the handset resting in a cradle. It has the presence to suit a console, a study or a living room table. It comes in two finishes: Black and Gold.
Decorative first
The Duchess is a decorative statement in a compact size, easy to place on a console. It works as a telephone too.
As a working telephone
Incoming calls work well. Outgoing calls work best on BSNL and MTNL landlines. A rotary dial spins back slowly after each digit, and many modern digital lines expect faster dialling, so a number you dial out may not always connect.
