About
The Taper is a handcrafted rotary candlestick telephone in the vintage design. Its slender, upright form gives a shelf, a console or a writing desk a tall, graceful line. It comes in two finishes: Black and Gold.
Decorative first
The Taper is chosen for its silhouette, a tall, thin shape that draws the eye on a shelf or writing desk. It works as a telephone too, but decoration is its purpose.
As a working telephone
Incoming calls work well. Outgoing calls work best on BSNL and MTNL landlines. A rotary dial spins back slowly after each digit, and many modern digital lines expect faster dialling, so a number you dial out may not always connect.
